SBS Design manufacture specialist doors for all environments. Areas with higher levels of wet, humidity or damp require doors which can withstand these conditions without water ingress, distortion or damage.

Our composite doors are designed for bathrooms, wet rooms and changing rooms, they can cope with much higher levels of water spray with no penetration.

The door and its frame are constructed from aluminium which has a high gloss powder coated finish, the coating is very hard, durable and easy to keep clean.

The Aluminium can be totally powder coated or in addition we can bond a large glass mirror to the face, which can help to create the illusion of space in a smaller room.

For less extreme cases where minimal water issues are present we can offer a wooden door which has a water resistant MDF face panel, this type of MDF will not swell when subjected to a much lower level of wet and damp, (please be advised before ordering). The MDF will be finished in one of the finishes listed below.

On the opposite side of the specialist composite door, we bond a sheet of MDF which will be prepared to compliment the room or hallway it faces. SBS Design offer a stunning range of finishes to choose from, Real wood veneers, Laminates and Spray painted finishes.

Real wood veneers have a beautiful and stylish look to the composite door, when the door is closed the finished side of the door will blend in with the surrounding SBS doors perfectly. (We may be able to match your existing doors by request) SBS Design have a wide range of traditional, contemporary and exotic real wood veneers. These can be finished natural or stained to your desired colour combination. We have a full spectrum of coloured stains to bring the natural beauty of the wood grain to life.

Laminate facia panels are available embossed, flat, moulded or wood effect. The flat, embossed and moulded versions can be spray painted to any RAL colour of your choice. There are a range of moulded designs to choose from as well as a choice of simulated wood effects. Please take a look at the laminates range for some examples.

For all veneered and coated laminate options (not wood effect) varnishes and paints can be finished within the scale from 100% Matte through satin to 100% gloss.

SBS Design can also manufacture many types of other specialised door.
